Our charge as a church body is to move our various communities from devastation and destruction to dialogue and dedication, from poverty and pitilessness to productivity and praise, from temptation to salvation, from hopelessness to righteousness, from spiritual segregation to spiritual integration. We must teach our generation to embrace the power and principle of salvation through Jesus Christ.

Music Ministry
The music ministry is an integral part of any church, the River of Life is no different. Hymns and praise songs usher in His Spirit and allows the worshiper to give thanks to the LORD at a higher level. All are encouraged to participate

Evangelism
The Deacons and Missionaries will team together to serve the needs of the members in the congregation, to include: visiting the sick and shut-in, follow up with members who have been absent, administer communion to those who are sick and shut-in. Also, they will develop a nurturing ministry concept for parishioner care. They will be responsible for teaching in our small classes in the homes of our members. This will help with our teaching of the Word to reach the masses.

Jesus Jammers
The Mission of the Children's Church is to present the gospel in a variety of ways to include skits, dramas, puppet shows, etc, in addition to having an order of service similar to the adult worship service. A nursery is provided for 0-4 as needed. It is the desire of this ministry to be creative in winning souls at all cost.

The purpose of the Married Couples’ Ministry is to build and enhance our relationships through the power and wisdom of God’s Word. Our desire is to help rescue marriages that are on the rocks and relationships that are merely going through the motions. We want couples to thrive, and not just survive.

IMPACT is a dynamic department of the River of Life. Impact is dedicated to the preaching, teaching and making disciples of youth people who will impact their communities in a positive way.
